Map of churches with visual arts programs

View Artsy Churches in a larger map

This is something that I started to put together for myself. I'm thinking about a little visual arts and worship road trip. It would be so inspiring to visit some of the churches and arts programs that I've learned about over the years. What a great opportunity to learn from others and add to my own ministry when i return! Also, I thought you might enjoy a listing of churches. Maybe you're an artist and you're looking to get plugged in or inspired too. Please leave a comment or reply if you know of a church with a visual arts ministry, ei, live worship painting, a gallery space, artists small group, artists outreach program, etc. and I'll add it to the map.

Hi. I was pleased to see that you already had Lifelink on your list.
One day, I hope to be able to come back to the stirring and paint some more...
I think you are doing a great job!

Wow, you've added a bunch more! Don't know if we'll be able to cover all those churches! Can we do the West Coast trip first? Heehee...I'd love to check out Portland.

We dont have to visit them all. But if that was the goal, we'd need a Winnebago -- we'd call it our ARTebago or aRtV.

Hahaha, I like the Artebago. Maybe we can do that some year. Lets keep our eyes peeled for a pop-up trailer babe!

Hi,
I love this listing and would love to be added to it. My church is New Creation Fellowship in Reading PA. It's a very small church and I am the pastor. I paint in the service nearly every week and am constantly trying to find new ways to share the Gospel through the arts especially through my website amokarts.com
Thanks for listing on pastor2artists my elist.
God bless,
Dave

You can include Capo Beach Calvary in Capistrano Beach, CA. We have a revolving art gallery and include live art in our services periodically: http://capobeachcalvary.com/
Thanks.

Grace Church Presbyterian has an arts outreach program through Ruminate, which is an arts organization that engages the Christian faith and publishes a national arts magazine.
